The Entertainer : Addition Renovation

Centerville, Ohio

This home, originally built in the 1980’s, is located on a site with a park-like setting. A two story addition and patio
expansion was built to accommodate large gatherings of friends and family. Originally built by a local builder without benefit of an architect, the house did not take advantage of the park-like setting of the rear yard. A master bath and deck addition allow the Owners to begin and end their day in a retreat-like setting.  The internal first floor plan was reconfigured to provide for a new music room/library, new dining room, new media room, and the kitchen was renovated. Landscape architecture design services were provided by Envision-Works. The renovation is based on the “Not So Big House” theory of architect Sarah Susanka.
